About the Founder & Yoga Instructor
Hi, I’m Jeanne, the founder of Grounded Peace.
As a PsyD student and Somatic Experiencing practitioner-in-training, I view movement as a vital bridge between the nervous system and the heart. My teaching is deeply rooted in Grounded Peace, a philosophy that treats the mat as a sanctuary for regulation, agency, and embodied resilience.
With a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) foundation, I specialize in the rhythmic release of Vinyasa and the meditative stillness of Yin. My approach is uniquely informed by my clinical background and studies in trauma-informed care, ensuring every session is a choice-based container for healing. I don’t just teach postures; I facilitate an environment where you can explore the “felt-sense,” moving from survival mode into a state of intentional flow.
Whether you are seeking physical strength or emotional grounding, my goal is to help you anchor your awareness and rediscover the peace that exists within your own skin. By integrating somatic wisdom with ancient tradition, we work together to build a practice that honors your body’s unique pace and story.
